Europe’s largest electronics retailer, Media Markt, have recently debuted a new and exciting INSTORE campaign after experiencing success when working with Luckycycle on an online promotion previously.
Media Markt has differentiated itself and embraced multichannel promotional offers by using an interactive 'buy and win' promotion by offering customers the chance to win their purchases for free on embedded iPads instore.
Interactive kiosks were installed into 24 stores for a unique 2 week campaign across all entertainment products. After making payment, customers were treated to the special experience of taking their receipt over to the iPads embedded into the kiosks for the chance to win their purchase for free. Over the 2 weeks, 400 loyal customers became lucky winners.
Media Markt has therefore got ahead of its competitors by providing their customers with a fun and new experience, consequently boosting sales at the same time. This also increased Media Markt’s consumer loyalty due to customers signing up to the customer loyalty programme after participating in the game.
By working with Luckycycle, Media Markt are shaking up their retail promotions by providing an element of chance across all channels, thus creating a unique and fresh experience for all of their loyal customers.
